About Me

Brian is a registered patent agent before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 2024 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering. Prior to starting his firm, he worked as a patent analyst at the Office of Technology Transfer at his alma mater. He worked on technologies that involve various technical backgrounds such as electrical engineering, chemical engineering and its biological applications, metallurgical sciences, and computer science.

Some examples of these technologies include generative AI for classroom access, Kolsky bar compression, metasurface neural networks, compressive sensing for spectroscopy, deliverable biologics using contact lenses, metal-organic framework for direct purification, hydrogen storage, metal foil pumps for recycled feed, and bi-directional rectifiers.

He also conducted hydrate data analysis of impacts regarding helical coils from gas dissolution inside of natural gas piping at the Center of Hydrate Research at the Colorado School of Mines.

In addition to firm work, he is an active participant as a registered patent practitioner in patent pro bono programs across the United States. Brian is dedicated to helping lower-income inventors achieve their goal of obtaining a patent while working alongside other attorneys in the pro bono programs.
